Mr. Sanfilippo joined Multimedia Games as President and CEO in June 2008. Mr. Sanfilippo brings to Multimedia Games more than 25 years of gaming industry experience. Prior to joining Multimedia Games, Mr. Sanfilippo was employed with Harrah's Entertainment Inc. (Harrah's), the world's largest casino company and a provider of branded casino entertainment. While at Harrah's, he served as President of both the Central and Western Divisions, overseeing the operations of more than two dozen casino and casino-hotel destinations.
Mr. Sanfilippo was also part of the senior management team that led the successful integration of numerous gaming companies acquired by Harrah's, including Jack Binion's Horseshoe Casinos, the Grand Casino & Hotel brand, Players International, and Louisiana Downs Racetrack.
In addition to his duties as divisional president, Mr. Sanfilippo was also President and Chief Operating Officer for Harrah's New Orleans and a member of the Board of Directors of Jazz Casino Corporation prior to Harrah's acquiring full ownership. He has directed tribal gaming operations in Arizona, California and Kansas, and has held gaming licenses in most states that offer legalized gambling.
Mr. Ramsey joined Multimedia Games in September 2008, after serving for over six years in various executive and operational positions with Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. Most recently, Ramsey served as Vice President and Executive Associate to the Vice Chairman at Harrah's corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, where he worked on domestic and international development, design and construction, and sports and entertainment. He has significant slot operation and product experience, having served as Vice President of Slots & Security at Caesars Atlantic City, where he was responsible for maximizing the performance of over 3,000 gaming devices, which generated more than $400 million in annual revenue. In addition to Caesars Atlantic City, he served in executive positions at Harrah's Joliet (Illinois) and Harrah's East Chicago (Indiana), as well as the company's Central Division office in Memphis. Prior to entering the gaming industry, he worked in various roles within the finance industry, and also taught English in South America. He holds a BA in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mr. Chibib was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Multimedia Games in February 2009, bringing over 18 years of financial management and technology industry experience to the Company, as well as relevant public company experience. Prior to joining Multimedia Games, Mr. Chibib ran a financial consulting practice where he assisted early stage technology companies with debt and equity fund raising, business model and process improvement implementation and M&A advisory services. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at NetSpend Corporation, Tippingpoint Technologies (NASDAQ:TPTI), Waveset Technologies, and BroadJump, Inc. In each case he was an integral member of senior management teams that consistently improved revenues and cash flow. In addition, as Controller at Tivoli Systems, Mr. Chibib's responsibilities included managing the worldwide accounting and treasury functions of a $1 billion software company. Mr. Chibib has also held various positions, including senior level positions, at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP and Price Waterhouse, LLP. Mr. Chibib is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ginny Shanks brings to Multimedia Games more than 25 years of marketing experience in gaming entertainment, most recently as Senior Vice President of Brand Management for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc., the world's largest casino company and provider of branded casino entertainment. During her time with Harrah's Entertainment, she held multiple executive positions at the property, division and corporate level. As SVP Brand Management, Ginny was responsible for maximizing the value of the company's key strategic brands - Caesars, Harrah's, and Horseshoe casinos; the Total Rewards player loyalty program; and the World Series of Poker - the world's richest sporting event, the third most watched sport on cable television and the 7th most admired sports brand in North America. In addition to setting overall corporate brand strategy, Ms. Shanks oversaw sports and entertainment marketing, strategic alliances, consumer insights, retail, public relations, and nationwide casino promotions. In 2008, Ginny was the recipient of the Casino Marketing Lifetime Achievement award, the first woman to be honored with this distinction.
Uri Clinton serves as chief legal counsel for all business operations, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and licensing in the Legal Affairs Department. Clinton's professional experience includes more than 10 years business and legal experience including six years in the Law Department at Harrah's Entertainment, most recently serving as Vice President of Legal Affairs for its Central Division. In that and earlier positions, he served as business operations and regulatory compliance legal counsel for more than 13 casino/hotels located in seven Native American and commercial gaming jurisdictions. Additionally, he served as lead counsel for several of Harrah's enterprise-wide departments and initiatives, including its National Casino Marketing Air Charter program, Risk Management Department, Corporate Diversity, and the 2004 integration of several Horseshoe branded casinos into the Harrah's corporate structure.
Mr. Roemer joined Multimedia Games in January of 2009 as Senior Vice President of Sales, bringing over 25 years of gaming equipment sales and marketing experience to the Company. Mr. Roemer most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development for Bally Technologies, where he was instrumental in helping Bally increase their market share with gaming units shipped growing from 8700 units to more than 22,000 units annually. Prior to that, he served as VP of Marketing for IGT, where he directed IGT's sales efforts into the emerging riverboat markets in Illinois, Mississippi, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana and Louisiana and was instrumental in the development and introduction of the Wheel of Fortune, iGame and Game King product lines. Mick's professional experience with other gaming companies includes leadership roles in the industry's transition to cashless wagering via ticket-in/ticket-out technology, as well as the use of on-line player tracking systems as a marketing tool.
Mr. Aviles joined the company in 2009 as Vice President of Technology; a well versed veteran of the networking, security and digital storage industries with 27 years of experience in systems and embedded software development and platform manufacturing. While at Cisco Systems and 3Com Joaquin managed development of high volume production devices through local and abroad Contract Manufacturers and he has been responsible for supporting organizations generating over $400M in yearly revenue. Mr. Aviles has participated in fund raising activities to Venture Capital firms and Individual investors and he has been involved in the early stages of three start-ups with successful exits at Compaq in the early 90's, Cisco Systems in the late 90's, and 3Com in the early 00's. Joaquin is holder of multiple approved patents and architect of 10Gbit Ethernet Network Devices and System on a Chip (SOC) Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) currently in use by the networking, security and digital storage markets. Joaquin is responsible for creating and co-developing innovative technologies as Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) that provides Internet Service Providers infrastructure protection at 10Gbps. Joaquin holds a BS in Electronic Engineering from the Florida International University in Miami, FL.
